Obama Being Blamed For U.S. Economic Woes

U.S. President Barack Obama's popularity has taken a massive dive, as he is catching up with former President, George W. Bush, in the blame department, regarding the ongoing financial crisis rocking America.

Where Bush precipitated the problem with the terrible management of the nation's finances and massive spending, Obama has exacerbated it with unruly, socialist spending, not suited to the U.S. economy.

Some good news in the midst of troubling financial headlines: GM repaid $8 billion of the bailout money it was given, 5 years in advance. Well done to GM.

Bush still gets blame for economy, but Obama catching up

April 21, 2010, 6:07 PM EDT - Former President George W. Bush still gets most of the blame for the nation’s current economic ills, but the government’s current chief executive is catching up, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday.

President Barack Obama takes at least a moderate amount of blame among half those surveyed by Gallup late last month, up from 32% when Gallup last asked the question in July. The survey of 1,033 adults shows that 26% think Obama should take a “great deal” of the blame while another 24% believe the current president shoulders a “moderate amount.” Fifty percent say Obama gets little or no blame...

80% Of Americans Don't Trust The Government

U.S. President Barack Obama

According to a PEW research poll, 80% of Americans do not trust the government. With the rampant abuse of public goodwill that occurred under the Bush administration, only to be followed by a year of disappointing revelations and actions by the Obama administration, Americans have good reason not to trust the government.

Let's not forget the lies of the Clinton administration, regarding Bill Clinton's extracurricular sexual activities and then First Lady Hillary Clinton's duplicitous dealings in the Whitewater scandal.

Most egregiously, the long suffering American people have been lied to about a war that wreaked havoc in the Middle East and destroyed America's name all over the world.

The nation's citizens have also been subjected to lies about renditioning, warrantless spying on American citizens by the FBI and NSA in the areas of telephones, mobile phones, computers, emails, GPS, bank accounts, credit reports and library cards. Deficit and budgetary spending has also been corrupted and camouflaged to hide the truth.

It's been one lie after another for the past twenty years, giving the American people and the world, no reason to trust the U.S. government. What is most alarming is the government's abuse of the U.S. Constitution, court system and federal law, in attempting to get away with blatantly illegal and unethical conduct. This misconduct hit a jarring crescendo under the Bush administration.

Some government officials have smirked and laughed at the gross lack of transparency and culpability in office, regarding illegal conduct they have been able to get away with, that has been witnessed by the American people and the world, clearly not grasping it has deteriorated America to terrible degrees.

It's the equivalent of burning one's house down, not realizing people are watching the act of self-sabotage, in a crooked attempt to become rich and powerful, via illegally obtained funds one is banking on.

Poll: 4 out of 5 Americans don't trust Washington

9 hours ago - WASHINGTON — America's "Great Compromiser" Henry Clay called government "the great trust," but most Americans today have little faith in Washington's ability to deal with the nation's problems.

Public confidence in government is at one of the lowest points in a half century, according to a survey from the Pew Research Center. Nearly 8 in 10 Americans say they don't trust the federal government and have little faith it can solve America's ills, the survey found.

The survey illustrates the ominous situation President Barack Obama and the Democratic Party face as they struggle to maintain their comfortable congressional majorities in this fall's elections. Midterm prospects are typically tough for the party in power. Add a toxic environment like this and lots of incumbent Democrats could be out of work.

Obama's DOJ Engaging In Warrantless Email Scanning

U.S. President Barack Obama: Uncle Sam wants...your emails

As stated in the April 17. 2010 article, Obama Plays Scientist, the FBI/DOJ and NSA, scan and copy the emails (and computers) of select American people, without warrant, evening using their contents to compile reports for then President George W. Bush and now President Barack Obama. Doctors, scientists, professors, politicians, journalists and bloggers are often selected for this massive invasion of privacy. The Judiciary Report made these claims years ago as well.

Eric Holder: your emails are our emails!

One hold out was Yahoo, who engaged in a legal battle with the DOJ, to protect their users' privacy. The EFF supported them in this regard, as it is an unsavory government practice that violates the Fourth Amendment.

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller: what warrant?

The DOJ has officially backed down from the Yahoo legal tussle, but continues to unconstitutionally read the emails of Americans that use other email and web hosting providers.

In closing, Presidents, by way of the FBI and NSA, should not be fishing ideas out of people's emails. It is an awful, unseemly practice no one with any ethics could condone or respect.

DOJ abandons warrantless attempt to read Yahoo e-mail

April 16, 2010 12:01 PM PDT - The U.S. Justice Department has abruptly abandoned what had become a high-profile court fight to read Yahoo users' e-mail messages without obtaining a search warrant first.

In a two-page brief filed Friday, the Obama administration withdrew its request for warrantless access to the complete contents of the Yahoo Mail accounts under investigation. CNET was the first to report on the Denver case in an article on Tuesday...

EFF Backs Yahoo! to Protect User from Warrantless Email Search

April 14th, 2010 - Denver - The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) along with Google and numerous other public interest organizations and Internet industry associations joined with Yahoo! in asking a federal court Tuesday to block a government attempt to access the contents of a Yahoo! email account without a search warrant based on probable cause.

Your fourth amendment rights under attack by Obama, DOJ

April 16, 7:45 PM - I don't know what to think about the country anymore. I see things happening that, just a few years ago, would have been called "proof that Bush is Satan." Those same things, under this administration, receive little or no press. While we're all paying attention to Tiger Woods and his marital problems, or busy arguing about whether the Tea Party movement is full of "racists, homophobes and morons," the government is quietly working to take away our personal, constitutionally protected, GOD GIVEN freedoms...

The Dept. of Justice apparently believes that U.S. citizens do not enjoy a "reasonable expectation of privacy" with respect to cell phone use, and have been attempting to acquire the ability to simply demand user information from the cell phone companies without going through standard procedures to obtain a warrant for specific information on specific individuals for use in specific prosecutions. They are assaulting the fourth amendment in yet another case, asserting that "email over 181 days old should not be protected from warrantless search and seizure."...

Obama, China And The Yuan

Chinese President Hu Jintao and U.S. President Barack Obama

U.S. President Barack Obama is still pressuring global titan, China, to change the value of its currency, the Yuan, which is an unbelievable request. China has maintained its position that it will not budge on this matter.

Once again, President Obama needs to focus on the U.S. economy and stop interfering in other nation's policies. That's what placed former President Bush firmly in trouble.

The way back for America in this financial crisis, is not for the government to tell others to take a step down, but for Washington to work with the nation in taking a step forward.

Soldiers Laugh At Death Of Iraqi Civilians

A disturbing video has leaked to the press showing U.S. soldiers in Iraq, laughing while shooting at civilians, as they kill them from a helicopter using military weaponry. A soldier is heard saying, "Light em all up. Come on, fire!"

A second soldier is heard responding, "Ha, ha, I hit'em." While a third soldier states in response to the murdered civilians, "Look at those dead basta*ds."

President Obama

Further proof the war needs to end. President Obama cannot justify what is happening in Iraq, by seeking to continue what former President Bush started, as the conflict and bloodshed, especially where civilians are concerned, is terrible.

'Ha ha, I hit 'em': Top secret video showing U.S. helicopter pilots gunning down 12 civilians in Baghdad attack leaked online

Last updated at 9:19 AM on 07th April 2010 - A secret video leaked on to the internet shows American soldiers laughing as a helicopter strike kills around a dozen civilians in Baghdad.

In the 17-minute black-and-white footage from an Apache helicopter gunsight, the crew can be heard discussing the carnage as if they were playing a video war game.

Before one attack on a group of men, a voice is also heard saying: 'Light em all up. Come on, fire!' One soldier can even be heard shouting: 'Ha, ha, I hit 'em.' Another says: 'Look at those dead b******s.'

U.K. Election Set For May 6, 2010

The Queen of England has been formally asked to dissolve the current British Parliament, which is a precursor for the national elections. The main battle for Prime Minister shall be between incumbent Labour Party chief, Gordon Brown and Conservative Tory party head, David Cameron.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown

The Tony Blair years were not particularly kind to Britain or the Labour Party, due to the war in Iraq, former U.S. President, George W. Bush, roped the country's main ally across the pond into and was later accompanied by a terrible financial crisis that began in America and spread to the United Kingdom, then eventually most of the globe.

Britons do seem hopefully for positive change in their nation and the May elections shall furnish them with the opportunity to make that a reality. Britain needs swift reparative measures to mend the financial and social damage of the past decade.

David Cameron and wife Samantha

Exorbitant benefits draining tax dollars to the tune of billions, need to be reduced, as singular households enjoying loopholes in the system, should not be clearing more money in government assistance, than doctors and lawyers earn at their respective places of employment. Exports need to be increased as well. Industrialization isn't such a bad thing, contrary to what some would have the world believe.

Obama And Republicans Fight Over Job Figures

U.S. President Barack Obama

U.S. President Barack Obama has gotten into a verbal sparring match with Republicans over the latest job numbers released to the public. Days prior, a government report reflected many payrolls in America had shed jobs, yet today, the Obama White House touted figures stating 162,000 jobs have been added to the economy.

Here's hoping another inaccurate job tally has not been released for political reasons, as was done during the Bush administration, where numbers had to be revised to later correct the exaggeration and inaccuracies. Accuracy is needed to address and fix the problems.

"It is unacceptable for President Obama to declare economic success when unemployment remains at 9.7 percent and a large portion of the job growth came from temporary boost in government employment," Steele said.

"Obama Lifts Ban On Offshore Drilling"

Video: Obama Lifts Ban on Offshore Drilling

U.S. President Barack Obama has gone against original statements made by his Democratic Party, regarding banning offshore oil drilling in America. For over two years, the Judiciary Report and its affiliated sites, have been in favor of the government safely exploring and extricating its natural resources.

The sudden change of heart from Democrats is most likely due to the dire state of the U.S. Treasury, with more money going out than coming in, because of spending initiatives. Former President George "W is for War" Bush broke the bank, emptying the till and current President Obama has taken it much further into the negative, with barrels of red ink.

George W. Bush Accused Of Derisively Wiping Hand In Haiti

Former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have started an organization aimed at helping earthquake ravaged Haiti. Clinton has been active in the country for a few years.

This week, Clinton brought Bush jr. along for a goodwill trip. However, the mainstream press is pointing to an incident regarding Bush shaking a Haitian man's hand, then wiping his own on Clinton's shirt immediately after.

How ironic. The enthusiastic Haitian survivor may have had a little dirt on his hands from the extremely dire conditions he is living in, due to the earthquake - meanwhile, Bush has blood on his hands from starting a deceitful war that killed over one million Iraqi civilians and thousands of American and British soldiers. I'd rather have dirt on my hands, than blood.

The East Looking Down On The West

China's Great Hall of the People

Thanks to the financial crisis that sprouted under former President, George W. Bush, as a direct result of his terrible tenure in the White House, then spread globally, it is being reported in the Washington Post, the East is looking down on the West, it once revered.

Choices spilling out of Washington, exhibiting poor financial acumen, are not helping matters. America can recover, but not along the path President Obama is currently trotting. If the wild spending continues, by 2012, America is going to be so in debt, prosperity will be a distant memory.

It is time to change course, Mr. President. You cannot continue to spend money that is not your own, in this manner, placing the nation's citizens in indefinite debt.

China Slams And Excoriates U.S. Government

China's President Hu Jintao

The Chinese government excoriated the U.S. government as "hypocritical" via denouncing Washington's meddling in other nations' affairs and condemning other countries, while human rights abuses in the United States against Americans and residents continues unabated.

The rebuke was in response to a derogatory report the U.S. government issued on China. The Chinese government also took its American counterparts in Washington to task, for the current global financial crisis, which began in the U.S. corporate sector, that former President George W. Bush, left unattended, labeling in "a free market" which allowed financial corruption to take root and destroy the financial portfolios of many people in America.

The Chinese government stated, as a result of said lax financial policies and lack of corporate policing, many "People are suffering all over the world" having lost their homes, bank accounts and life savings.

China is the largest holder of U.S. debt and has become concerned regarding the $1 trillion dollars it is owed, in the face of the devaluation of the U.S. dollar, due to increased spending in Washington over the past year, in trying to correct former President George W. Bush's horrific decisions.

China calls U.S. a hypocrite over human rights

Fri Mar 12, 2010 9:24am EST - (Reuters) - China accused Washington of hypocrisy on Friday for its criticism of Beijing's restrictions on the Internet and dissent, blaming the United States for the financial crisis and saying its own rights record was terrible.

In its annual survey of human rights in 194 countries issued on Thursday, the U.S. State Department criticized China, along with Cuba, Myanmar, North Korea and Russia.

China's State Council Information Office, or cabinet spokesman's office, issued its own annual assessment of the United States' human rights record in response, and this year it dwelt on America's economic woes.

"The United States not only has a terrible domestic human rights record, it is also the main source of many human rights disasters worldwide," the Chinese report said, according to the official Xinhua news agency.

"Especially a time when the world is suffering serious human rights disasters caused by the global financial crisis sparked by the U.S. sub-prime crisis, the U.S. government has ignored its own grave human rights problems and reveled in accusing other countries."...

The latest Chinese counter-blast to U.S. criticisms said Washington should concentrate on "improving its own human rights."

Karl Rove Proud Of Waterboarding

Former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice and Karl Rove

Karl Rove, an adviser of former U.S. President, George W. Bush, stated to the press today, he is proud of the torture technique known as waterboarding (simulated drowning), which was used on a number of terrorist suspects.

He is unwise to make such a proclamation, as he is boasting of violating the Geneva Conventions, which the United States signed and is subject to, under international law. It sends a terrible message to the world that is already mistrustful of the U.S. government.

Karl Rove 'proud' of waterboarding

U.S. Poll: America's Image Has Declined In The World Since Obama

President Barack Obama

A poll conducted in America offered the opinion, the United States image and standing have declined in the world, since U.S. President Barack Obama has taken office. The poll squarely blamed Democrats for the decline.

Former Republican and U.S. President, George W. Bush did the most damage in this regard, with a war in Iraq that killed over a million civilians and thousands of soldiers from different nations.

However, President Obama is now following suit, via sending more troops to the Middle East, terrible political policies in the area of finance, wild spending initiatives and issuing international snubs of world leaders and monarchs, in incidents that have been widely reported in the press.

The U.S. economy is also intertwined with that of several other nations and President Obama's recording spending is alarming many in international financial circles, as they have invested in America and vice versa. It seems as if every day the public wakes up to news of more spending and it is alarming. The money being thrown around consists of significant sums not easily recouped.

The Justice Department, F.B.I., C.I.A. and N.S.A. are illegally combing emails and wiretapping the phones of politicians and diplomats of foreign countries IN THEIR RESPECTIVE NATIONS, causing massive offense and damaging international relations, as it violates the law in other nations.

Domestic scandals that prominently feature members of the President's cabinet such as Rahm Emanuel, D.O.J. Attorney General, Eric Holder and F.B.I. Director, Robert S. Mueller, are doing Mr. Obama and his administration no favors domestically or internationally.

From a distance, it has the appearance of chaos and confusion, which does not instill confidence. In short, President Obama is getting some very bad advice. Mr. Obama is an intelligent, educated, articulate man. Why he has chosen this path and is listening to certain people, is stupefying.

Carville poll: Majority now say U.S. is less respected than it was two years ago

Devastating.

The Democracy Corps-Third Way survey released Monday finds that by a 10-point margin - 51 percent to 41 percent - Americans think the standing of the U.S. dropped during the first 13 months of Mr. Obama's presidency.

"This is surprising, given the global acclaim and Nobel peace prize that flowed to the new president after he took office," said pollsters for the liberal-leaning organizations.

On the national security front, a massive gap has emerged, with 50 percent of likely voters saying Republicans would likely do a better job than Democrats, a 14-point swing since May. Thirty-three percent favored Democrats…

A May 2009 survey by the pollsters found the public saw the Democratic and Republican parties as equally able to handle national security (41 percent trusted Democrats more, and 43 percent trusted Republicans more.) On conducting the war on terrorism, the two parties were tied at 41 percent...

Gordon Brown Expresses Regret Over Iraq War

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown

Today, British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, took an opposing position to former Prime Minister, Tony Blair, during the ongoing Iraq War inquiry held in London, England.

Brown showed some contrition and apologized to the families of British soldiers and Iraqi civilians for the loss of life during the war, rather than proudly proclaiming the illegal conflict as wholly appropriate, as Blair did several weeks ago before the committee.

However, he did defend the war as the right decision, which in the Judiciary Report's opinion, it was not. Key facts were withheld from the public, by the Bush Administration, which would have revealed the war to be illegitimate and illegal.

Brown's regrets will mildly help to break the domestic and international ice, concerning public reaction to the war the British people overwhelmingly did not want.

Brown blames U.S. for Iraq chaos

Posted 06:41 PM ET - British PM Gordon Brown insisted Fri. that the decision to invade Iraq was justified, but told a major inquiry into the war that the U.S. dismissed warnings of chaos and violence once Saddam Hussein was toppled. In giving 4 hours of evidence to Britain's inquiry on Iraq, a somber Brown, who was Treasury chief from '97 to '07, expressed regret over the lost lives, and acknowledged mistakes were made by leaders in Washington and London.

Nancy Pelosi Outed On Lying About C.I.A.

Nancy Pelosi

According to documents released under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act, Congressional House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, has been caught in a lie, as she previously stated she did not know about former President George W. Bush's torture program.

According to the Freedom of Information Act documents obtained by the Judicial Watch, via a lawsuit, "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who previously denied she was briefed by the CIA on the use of these techniques, is specifically referenced in a briefing that took place on April 24, 2002, regarding the 'ongoing interrogations of Abu Zubaydah.' Zubaydah had been subjected to the enhanced interrogation techniques." In other words, she lied and knew about it the whole time.

U.S. President Barack Obama

President Obama is also being slammed for hiding the incriminating F.O.I.A. documents, as Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton stated, "It is unfortunate that it took a federal court order to force the Obama administration to release these documents"

There's that lack of transparency again. I'm very disappointed in you, Mr. Obama. One expects such conduct from Bush, as it's right up his alley. However, it's very disheartening seeing it come from you.

Judicial Watch Obtains Documents Regarding Congressional CIA "Torture Briefings"

CIA Briefed At least 68 Members of Congress on "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" Between 2001 and 2007
Contact Information: Press Office 202-646-5172, ext 305

Washington, DC -- February 23, 2010

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has received the first batch of documents from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) regarding congressional "Torture Briefings." The CIA produced the documents pursuant to a previous court order in Judicial Watch's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the CIA (Judicial Watch v. Central Intelligence Agency, Case: 1:09-cv-01352). The court order stipulates that documents pertaining to congressional briefings on "enhanced interrogation techniques" must be provided to Judicial Watch by April 15. Additional documents are forthcoming.

According to the documents, previously marked "Top Secret," between 2001 and 2007, the CIA briefed at least 68 members of Congress on the CIA interrogation program, including so-called "enhanced interrogation techniques." The documents include the dates of all congressional briefings and, in some cases, the members of Congress in attendance and the specific subjects discussed. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who previously denied she was briefed by the CIA on the use of these techniques, is specifically referenced in a briefing that took place on April 24, 2002, regarding the "ongoing interrogations of Abu Zubaydah." Zubaydah had been subjected to the enhanced interrogation techniques.

Judicial Watch previously obtained documents from former Vice President Cheney's office in a separate lawsuit that detail the effectiveness of "enhanced interrogation techniques." According to a June 1, 2005, CIA report entitled, Detainee Reporting Pivotal for the War Against Al-Qa'ida, "Detainee reporting accounts for more than half of all HUMINT reporting on al-Qa'ida since the program began..." Interestingly, this fact was omitted in later versions of the report obtained by Judicial Watch. All versions, however, conclude: "One of the gains to detaining the additional terrorists has been the thwarting of a number of al-Qa'ida operations in the United States and overseas."

Despite the apparent effectiveness of "enhanced interrogation techniques," the federal government suspended their use in 2005 by passing the Detainee Treatment Act. President Obama officially banned the use of "enhanced interrogation techniques" during his first week in office in January 2009. Two months later, in March 2009, President Obama overruled objections from national security officials and released documents detailing the government's enhanced interrogation program (the so-called "torture" memos). However, President Obama initially withheld information detailing the results of this program, including alleged terrorist plots that the program prevented.

Moreover, according to an April 2009 CNN report, President Obama's Intelligence Director, retired Admiral Dennis Blair, told colleagues in an April 16 memo on the subject of "enhanced interrogation techniques," that "High value information came from interrogations in which those methods were used and provided a deeper understanding of the al Qa'ida organization that was attacking this country." This sentence was omitted from a version of the memo released by Blair's office to the press.

"It is unfortunate that it took a federal court order to force the Obama administration to release these documents," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "These documents indicate that members of Congress approved of and were well aware of the use of these enhanced interrogation techniques and their lifesaving value. It is disturbing that we no longer use interrogation techniques that have demonstrably stopped terrorist attacks and saved American lives. The Obama administration has made this country less safe by its mishandling of the enhanced interrogation program."

Obama Renews Patriot Act Provisions

U.S. President Barack Obama

U.S. President Barack Obama, has renewed former President George W. Bush's controversial Patriot Act, in particular, three provisions, some of which are sorely being abused by the FBI.

The provision that, "Authorizes court-approved roving wiretaps that permit surveillance on multiple phones" is severely being abused by the FBI, to spy on innocent people in America, both citizen and non-citizen, with no suspected terrorist affiliations.

There is a type of roving mobile phone bug (wiretap) the Judiciary Report wrote about two years ago, based on a story that ran on Fox News. The FBI has the ability to turn on your mobile phone anywhere you are, triggering the microphone and having it act as an audio bug.

This enables them to pick up all conversation wherever the mobile phone is present, whether it be in your living room, bedroom, home office, car, church or at work.

It was used in a mafia case a few years ago and as you can tell, a Mafioso is not typically classified as a terrorist, but rather a hardened criminal.

Robert S. Mueller

However, on the orders of FBI Director, Robert S. Mueller, roving mobile phone audio bugs mentioned above, have also been improperly and illegally used on journalists, bloggers, politicians, community workers, activists and businesspeople, among others, who have not broken the law.

In some instances, it was done off the record, in others the FBI flat out lied, making up stories, trying to tie innocent people to terrorist investigations they knew they had nothing to do with, in order to spy on people they had no legal grounds to place under invasive surveillance.

Then, when they've sufficiently snooped on the innocent targets, they close out the sub-investigations, claiming there was no finding of terrorism or connection thereto, regarding said journalist, blogger, activist ect...

It's fine to employing surveillance methods on genuine terrorist suspects, but some people in America have been subjected to this, based on political and financial reasons, which is unconstitutional and unlawful.

Provisions in the measure would have expired on Sunday without Obama's signature Saturday.

The act, which was adopted in the weeks after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks, expands the government's ability to monitor Americans in the name of national security.

Three sections of the Patriot Act that stay in force will:

-Authorize court-approved roving wiretaps that permit surveillance on multiple phones.

-Allow court-approved seizure of records and property in anti-terrorism operations.

-Permit surveillance against a so-called lone wolf, a non-U.S. citizen engaged in terrorism who may not be part of a recognized terrorist group...

Obama Incorrect Regarding No Financial Depression

"Video: No US Depression Thanks To Recovery Act"

U.S. President Barack Obama stated there has not been a financial depression in America, thanks to his record spending, but he is incorrect. Aspects of the financial crisis automatically place it in the category of a depression.

More Americans lost their homes during the 2008 financial crisis, that is ongoing, than during the Great Depression. Real estate tracking agencies and banks repeatedly reiterated that a number of financially derogatory records had been set during the current crisis.

Unemployment hit record highs in a number of U.S. cities (not all), surpassing Great Depression figures. America's national debt is the highest it has ever been in history, once again, surpassing Great Depression levels, even when adjusted for inflation.

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama

Now, logic dictates, if the Great Depression was classified a "depression" as its name implies and several aspects of this modern day financial crisis have surpassed it, wouldn't the current financial free fall be a "depression" by default.

All these calamities happened under former President George W. Bush, due to his reckless war spending and inattention to Corporate America. Then, it carried over into Obama's tenure, leaving a mammoth mess for him to clean up. Regrettably, President Obama has exacerbated the current crisis via overspending.

And, if you want to get technical, the dictionary defines an economic depression as, "A period marked by slackening of business activity, widespread unemployment, falling prices and wages" and I think we can all agree that has happened between 2008 to 2010 and will continue if not properly corrected.

Side Bar: *light bulb* Maybe I should have just quoted the dictionary to begin with, instead of writing that long, drawn out article.

The next day on February 16. 2010, CNN conducted a poll, which revealed 52% of Americans believe U.S. President, Barack Obama, does not deserve a second term in office. This does not bode well for him at all, as more people think he should not be reelected, than those who think he should be.

His Hollywood style of governing, coupled with terribly poor choices from overspending to legal violations by the FBI and DOJ, are tanking his presidency in one year flat. He needs to correct this, as no one believes an incumbent does not want a second term.

On his current path, he is going to spend the federal government into bankruptcy, if this does not desist. There will be no money for federal agencies and America will be rendered completely weakened and in mass poverty.

This Hollywood styled presidency of spend, spend, spend is going to financially break the U.S. government, as any historian knows, no empire ever survived widespread reckless spending, intact. It always comes at a price.

Clearly, some failed to learn from former President George W. Bush, who spent, spent, spent on a reckless, deceitful war, whose objective was to steal the greatest known oil reserves in the world in Iraq. Former Vice President, Dick Cheney, even admitted it. So did Bush, claiming, "The oil would pay for the war." It ended in the terrible financial collapse of 2008 and said administration leaving office in utter disgrace.

The American people deserve better than that. For every person in America that goes to work honestly each work week and pays their taxes, they do not deserve for poor leadership to destroy all they’ve worked for, eroding the country with wantonly bad choices.

CNN poll: 52% say Obama doesn't deserve reelection in 2012

By Michael O'Brien - 02/16/10 01:35 PM ET - 52 percent of Americans said President Barack Obama doesn't deserve reelection in 2012, according to a new poll.

44 percent of all Americans said they would vote to reelect the president in two and a half years, less than the slight majority who said they would prefer to elect someone else.

Obama faces a 44-52 deficit among both all Americans and registered voters, according to a CNN/Opinion Research poll released Tuesday. Four percent had no opinion.

Dick Cheney Creates More Ill Will

Video: Biden and Cheney's War of Words

Former Vice President Dick Cheney came out of retirement again and drew more ill will for the U.S. government at home and abroad, by proclaiming he is for torture, with a particular fondness for waterboarding, which simulates drowning. He also stated Obama should be thankful to George W. Bush for the Iraq war, which is astonishing and appalling, showing a great lack of respect and repentance, as over 1 million people have died as a result of their lies. Vice President Cheney has rebuked him for these statements.

These constant misconceived quotes are doing nothing for the government's name, as torture is internationally illegal. Repeatedly coming forth and touting illegal criminal activity, under the guise of national security, is sowing additional seeds of mistrust and disgust. Torture is criminal, as is terrorism, therefore it puts you in the same class as terrorists.

Cheney: Biden should give credit for Iraq to Bush

Feb 14, 12:36 PM (ET) - WASHINGTON (AP) - When Vice President Joe Biden says Iraq war may turn out to be one of President Barack Obama's greatest achievements, Dick Cheney wants credit where he says it's due: the Bush administration.

"If they're going to take credit for it, fair enough, for what they've done while they're there," Cheney said Sunday. "But it ought to go with a healthy dose of 'thank you, George Bush' up front and a recognition that some of their early recommendations, with respect to prosecuting that war, were just dead wrong."...

Biden, appearing on Sunday news shows, said he believes Obama has managed the war in Iraq "very well" since taking office a year ago. He said, however, that he doesn't believe the war was worth the "horrible price" in lives lost and the initial mismanagement of the war by Bush.

"We took our eye off the ball, putting us in a much different and more dangerous position in Afghanistan. We lost support around the world. It's taken a lot of hard work to get it back. But we were handed - we were dealt a hand, and I think we're handling it incredibly well," Biden said...
