U.S. Federal Government Stonewalls Congress

Nidal Malik Hasan

The U.S. Federal government is stonewalling Congress in the Fort Hood shooting again, via denying the Senate access to investigative files, revealing deficiencies in the procedures that permitted the terrible shooting spree to transpire at an American army base. Considering the Senate is higher in rank than the Pentagon and FBI, this misconduct is very bumptious. What ever happened to public accountability.

Eric Holder Faces Wrath Of Congress

Eric Holder

U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, was slammed in Congress today, for indecisive and duplicitous answers, on whether the Obama administration intends to hold terrorist trials in populous Manhattan in New York and if they shall be in the civilian format, as opposed to military.

It seems odd that one can show up for a civil lawsuit, such as a contract or financial dispute and be seated in the same communal court areas as terrorist mass murderers. Something about that is somewhat off. Holder is in over his head at the Justice Department and it's showing.

Obama Wants To Ban Term "Islamic Extremism"

U.S. President Barack Obama

U.S. President Barack Obama wants the government to stop using the term "Islamic Extremism." Obama is seeking to have it scrubbed from official documents. He most likely wants the public to do the same, as that is how he operates.

You know what. Obama is right. We should not call it "Islamic Extremism." How about "Muslim Extremism" instead.

He also wants the word "Jihad" banned. Maybe he should write an email to terrorists, hit send to all and tell them stop using the term first. At the end of the day, innocent people are violently being killed over twisted, extremist ideology. Employing semantics is not going to fix that.

Obama bans terms `Islam` and `jihad` from U.S. security document

Last update - 12:05 07/04/2010 - President Barack Obama's advisers will remove religious terms such as "Islamic extremism" from the central document outlining the U.S. national security strategy and will use the rewritten document to emphasize that the United States does not view Muslim nations through the lens of terror, counterterrorism officials said.

EDITORIAL: Obama's jihad on 'jihad'

To this president, there's no such thing as an Islamic extremist

President Obama's latest strategic innovation in the war on terrorism is to ignore jihad and maybe it will go away.

The Obama administration is removing terms such as "jihad" and "Islamic extremism" from the U.S. National Security Strategy in an attempt to convince Muslim countries that America doesn't view them solely through the lens of counterterrorism

39 Dead In Moscow Train Blast

Female Islamic Terrorist Blamed For Russian Subway Blast

Yesterday, 39 people died in Moscow, Russia after two female Islamic extremists committed Jihad, by detonating explosives at two public train stations. Similar attacks have happened in England and Spain.

Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has vowed to bring the group behind the attacks to justice. Considering, he is a man that makes good on his threats, they are pretty much up a creek when he catches them.

I've never understood what terrorists think they accomplish by killing innocent people, who are going about their daily lives. It does not evoke sympathy for their terrorist cause, as it provokes resentment and anger.

My condolences to the victims' families and friends.

Report: Eric Holder's Job In Jeopardy

Eric Holder

According to several mainstream reports, the job of U.S. Attorney, Eric Holder is in jeopardy. After upsetting the people of New York with preparations to hold terrorism trials in the vicinity of the September 11th crash site, embarrassing clashes and faux pas in Congress, making statements that contradicted U.S. generals in the Middle East and noted incidents of him hiding his legal briefs from Congress and separately Freedom of Information files from numerous requesters, Holder has not only fallen afoul of the American people, but the U.S. Congress as well...all in less than one year.

Holder's future uncertain amid terror trial disputes

Mar 21 07:30 PM US/Eastern - US Attorney General Eric Holder took office pledging a sharp shift away from the last administration's policies, but an apparent change of heart in the White House could see the top lawyer leave his job.

Holder, 59, is the first African-American to hold the top legal post, and was generally regarded with bipartisan respect when he took office.

But a series of gaffes, fights with both Republicans and Democrats, and apparent disagreements between him and the White House have left Holder looking increasingly embattled.

He came under renewed fire when he told lawmakers Tuesday that Osama bin Laden would not be captured alive, and that US officials would read legal rights to the Al-Qaeda leader's corpse.

But the ridicule and attacks that followed are only the latest blows Holder has faced in the 14 months since he took office pledging to reverse the worst "war on terror" legal abuses sanctioned by former president George W. Bush's administration.

Ultra-conservative activists have questioned his ethics and even his patriotism over his decision to hire lawyers who defended terror suspects to Justice Department posts...

Eric Holder Excoriated In Congress

Video: Holder: Osama Bin Laden Will Never Face US Trial

U.S. President Barack Obama chose friend, Eric Holder, to be the nation's Attorney General. Holder has gotten himself into more trouble during his first year than any Attorney General in recent memory.

He testified in Congress this week that mass-murdering terrorist, Osama Bin Laden, is legally comparable to cultist killer, Charles Manson. His response drew the anger of the Congressional committee, who firmly believes terrorists should not be tried in civilian court.

Manson and Bin Laden are not in the same league of bloodshed, with the latter's body count being in thousands, while the former's remains in single digits.

Holder also put his foot in his mouth by declaring Bin Laden will be tried in court as a dead person, prompting the U.S. military to release a statement that they seek to bring him in alive.

The FBI Failed Again With Another Homegrown Terrorist

Video: Terror Suspect in Yemen Worked at US Nuke Sites

Once again, the FBI engaged in criminal negligence, in allowing a dangerous terrorist suspect, American born Muslim convert, Sharif Mobley, to roam free amongst innocent people in the United States, knowing he had terror ties, only for him to flee to Yemen and murder a security guard at a hospital.

Sharif Mobley

According to an Associated Press article, the FBI had Mobley under surveillance in America, but inexplicably did not bring him in, though he is a radicalized Muslim that made contact with Al Qaeda.

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

Even more infuriating is the fact he was allowed to work at several American nuclear plants, endangering millions, while espousing said radicalized beliefs, reminiscent of Fort Hood mass murderer, Nidal Maliak Hasan. The wrong person in a nuclear plant could have taken out millions of innocent people.

Once again, for the one millionth time, why are you, the FBI, allowing dangerous criminals to run around free.

U.S. citizen accused in Yemen killing had been under FBI watch

Saturday, March 13, 2010 - Sharif Mobley, a U.S. citizen accused of killing a hospital guard in Yemen, is believed to be a homegrown radical who left this country to make direct contact with al-Qaeda, according to U.S. counterterrorism officials, making him the latest in a string of such suspects.

Mobley, 26, first came to public attention Wednesday, when Yemeni authorities reported that he had grabbed a guard's gun during a medical visit last weekend after being arrested in a sweep of suspected al-Qaeda militants.

Several U.S. officials, all of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Mobley had been in custody in Yemen for at least several weeks before the shooting and had been known to U.S. and Yemeni authorities for a considerable period before that. "He's been a matter of some concern for a while," according to one official.

The officials said FBI investigations had been underway in Delaware, among the places that Mobley had lived, and in New Jersey, where he was born and was once employed as a maintenance worker in nuclear power plants. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission said Friday that he also worked at nuclear plants in Pennsylvania and at Maryland's Calvert Cliffs but that it had no reason to believe he had had access to sensitive material, news services reported...

Karl Rove Proud Of Waterboarding

Former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice and Karl Rove

Karl Rove, an adviser of former U.S. President, George W. Bush, stated to the press today, he is proud of the torture technique known as waterboarding (simulated drowning), which was used on a number of terrorist suspects.

He is unwise to make such a proclamation, as he is boasting of violating the Geneva Conventions, which the United States signed and is subject to, under international law. It sends a terrible message to the world that is already mistrustful of the U.S. government.

Karl Rove 'proud' of waterboarding

3/12/10 11:51 AM EST - Former Bush White House adviser Karl Rove is 'proud' that American interrogators used waterboarding to extract information from suspected terrorists.

Asked in an interview Thursday with the BBC if he was proud of weatherboarding and other “enhanced interrogation” techniques approved by the Bush White House, Rove said, “Yes, I'm proud that we kept the world safer than it was, by the use of these techniques.”...

Jihad Jane

Video: 'Jihad Jane' From Suburbs Facing Terror Charges

A blonde haired, blued eyed, white American woman, became a terrorist, advocating Islamic extremism, in attempting to recruit members for acts of Jihad against the United States. On the bright side for her lawyer, she is a shoe-in for an insanity plea.

March 10, 2010 - American Colleen R. LaRose, 46, is accused of using the Internet to recruit and assist Muslim terrorist operations in Europe and Asia. Authorities say suspect Colleen R. LaRose called herself "JihadJane." March 9, 2010 -

Reporting from Washington - Using e-mail, YouTube videos, phony travel documents and a burning desire to kill "or die trying," a middle-aged American woman from Pennsylvania helped recruit a network for suicide attacks and other terrorist strikes in Europe and Asia, according to a federal grand jury indictment unsealed Tuesday.

Colleen R. LaRose, who dubbed herself "JihadJane," was so intent on waging jihad, authorities said, that she traveled to Sweden to kill an artist in a way that would frighten "the whole Kufar [nonbeliever] world."

With blond hair and green eyes, the 46-year-old woman bragged that she could go anywhere undetected, boasting in one e-mail that it was "an honour & great pleasure to die or kill for" jihad, or holy war, the indictment said.

Obama Seeking Military Trials For Terrorists

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obama

According to the Washington Post, U.S. President Barack Obama is making a u-turn, regarding civilian trials for terrorists in American courts that are used by everyday citizens.

The report states, the President is going against the position of his Attorney General, Eric Holder, opting for trial by military tribunal on U.S. shores, which as the Judiciary Report stated a month ago, is appropriate.

Rights groups warn Obama on 9/11 trial U-turn

WASHINGTON — Human rights advocates voiced dismay Friday at signals President Barack Obama is considering a military tribunal for the September 11 plotters, backtracking on a plan for a civilian trial.

The U-turn would reportedly be part of a compromise with Congress in hopes that Republicans would agree to help Obama on another key goal -- closing the military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Self-confessed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his four accused co-plotters are detained in Guantanamo Bay awaiting trial for the 2001 attacks that killed almost 3,000 people, most in New York.

The Washington Post said Obama aides were set to recommend a military tribunal and rescind plans to try the men in a civilian court in New York, just steps from where the World Trade Center once stood...

FBI Director Mueller Rebuffed In Pakistan

Robert S. Mueller

FBI Director and resident racist, Robert S. Mueller, was rebuffed in the Middle East when his request for access to terror suspect, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, was denied by the government of Pakistan. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Why are you even over there, after you brought them all that bad international publicity, for torturing 5 Muslim-Americans that went to Pakistan to allegedly wage Jihad.

There are internationally accepted protocols for interrogating terrorist suspects. They should not have been tortured, as you Mr. Mueller, ordered conduct that blackened the U.S. government's name in the world...again, via violating the Geneva Conventions and international human rights treaties, in what has become a habit for you.

Pakistan said to deny FBI Baradar request

Published: Feb. 25, 2010 at 1:05 AM - ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- The Pakistani government turned down an FBI request to hand over captured Afghan Taliban commander Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, sources told Dawn newspaper.

Mullah Baradar -- a top Taliban military commander and the group's No. 2 after Taliban chief and founder Mullah Muhammad Omar -- was captured this month in Karachi in a joint U.S.-Pakistani intelligence operation.

The handover request was made by FBI Director Robert Mueller during meetings with officials of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence and other intelligence agencies, Dawn reported, citing sources...

Osama Bin Laden's Son Talks Jihad And Hollywood

The son of terrorist Osama Bin Laden did an interview recently, discussing his dad and what he believes drives him other than insanity. He stated Osama attacked America, because it is, "Weaker than Israel." He also said "People are saying his dad is a hero" and "who could catch him."

He also offers that his dad, "Doesn't agree with western culture in some way and prefers to use the good things" from it such as weaponry.

However, his Hashish smoking became blatantly evident when he proclaimed George Clooney, pronounced Colooney, a good actor. You and Colooney need to lay off the opium.

"Larry King Better Interrogator Than The FBI"

Ouch!

McConnell: Larry King is "better" than FBI at interrogating terrorists

Congressional representative, Mitch McConnell, slammed the FBI's interrogative skills or lack thereof, by stating famed talk show host, Larry King, would do a better job and question suspects someone longer.

It's FBI headquarters' poor leadership skills and blunders that has the world believing they are incompetent and incapable of doing a good job.

Larry King Better Than Feds at Interrogation: McConnell

Senate's top Republican blasts Obama on terror

Posted Feb 4, 10 8:16 PM CST - (Newser) – ...“He was given a 50-minute interrogation, probably Larry King has interrogated people longer and better than that,” McConnell told Fox News today. “After which he was assigned a lawyer who told him to shut up. Government Squabbling Over Classified Information

U.S. President Barack Obama and FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

The U.S. government is currently squabbling over the release of classified information regarding terrorist, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. Some Republicans are angered information was released by the Obama Administration and FBI Director, Robert S. Mueller, proclaiming Abdulmutallab has been cooperating with the U.S. government.

The world didn't have to know the U.S. government allegedly flipped Abdulmutallab. All the government had to do was appropriately act on the alleged intel.

I was amazed when said information was released and still believe pieces of the story are missing. Additionally, how can the government try people in court for releasing national security secrets, when they are essentially doing the same.

Furthermore, why do you guys in government argue so much. It's been over 8 years since the first major terrorist attack on this nation. The government should have gotten a lawful system down pat by now.

Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder

Yet what do we see - the wrong interrogators going in first, squabbles over Miranda rights and officials unadvisedly disclosing classified information before the suspect is even tried, all for political points.

Not only has it endangered his family, who have not been accused of any crime at this point, it could spark a retaliatory attack on Americans, with terrorists deeming you corrupted their boy.

As stated previously, it is wise detaining terrorists immediately and cutting off their communication with the outside world for a few days, in order to interrogate them. It is also appropriate that terrorists be tried on American soil, but as stated previously, in remote locations to protect innocent civilians from harm (also know as "the middle of nowhere").

It's not the greatest idea that the criminal justice system applied to civilians, be used to try terrorists. Terrorism is a serious crime. It is not a white collar offense. A military judicial system on U.S. shores, accountable to Congress and the American people, would be appropriate, as is a special, austere, isolated terrorist prison.

Terrorists also should not be tortured. No one should. It's a violation of the Geneva Conventions, which America and many other nations signed. However, repeatedly interrogating them, yelling at them and exposing them to loud music, as a form of punishment until they talk, is acceptable.

White House: Kit Bond Owes WH, Law Enforcement an Apology

February 04, 2010 1:44 PM - White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs Thursday afternoon said that the ranking Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Sen. Kit Bond, R-Mo., owes people in the White House and in law enforcement an apology for alleging in a recent letter that the administration -- for political reasons -- leaked information it shouldn't have shared about Umar Farouk Abdulmuttalab.

Bond, Gibbs said, "owes an apology to the professionals in the law enforcement community and those that work in this building...who work each and every day to keep the American people safe and would never ever, ever knowingly release or unknowingly release classified information that could endanger an operation or an interrogation."

Earlier today, Bond wrote to President Obama that on Monday afternoon, the leadership of the Senate Intelligence Committee as told by the Federal Bureau of Investigation that Abdulmutallab has been willing "to provide critical information" in recent days...

FBI Accused Of Torturing Muslims In Pakistan

Video: Americans Held in Pakistan Allege FBI Abuse

The FBI has been accused of torturing 5 American citizens that went to Pakistan to allegedly become terrorists. As they were driven through the streets of Pakistan, one threw a note out the window and yelled they are being tortured by the U.S. FBI and other officials.

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

The FBI is not above board in such matters, contrary to what they would like the public to believe. As stated on this website one month ago regarding the FBI, "What's worse is there is so much more they are hiding from the public, regarding the atrocities they've committed, that make no mistake, will become public knowledge."

By the way, don't think Mueller is above renditioning anyone, as he likes to pretend for the cameras. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

FBI Claims Terrorist Intelligence Methods Are Working

Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder

The Obama Administration and its FBI and DOJ have come under fire again, from other American federal agencies and Congressional Republicans, for their handling of foreign terrorist suspect, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

Many still contend the FBI were not the best choice to interrogate him, he should not have been read Miranda Rights as he is an "enemy combatant" and should be sent to the U.S. prison, Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.

The most qualified team should have interrogated him and according to expertise and government rank, it is not the FBI. However, the FBI claims they gained useful intel from Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

I find it hard to believe a radicalized young man that went as far as he did is just spilling his guts, especially when he knows he is not likely to see freedom again. I don't believe the account being given in the press. Several pieces of this story are missing.

The Judiciary Report is of the belief, it is okay to try and convict terrorists on U.S. soil, provided it is done in a remote region of the country, away from civilians. However, the more qualified interrogators should get the ball rolling first.

As for reading Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab his Miranda rights, that is dependent on the type of trial he is to face. If the government is going to try him under the U.S. criminal system that civilian lawbreakers face, then it is a matter of law. If he is tried on U.S. soil under the military system for criminals, that's another story.

Side Bar: Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's dad must be so disappointed, as he's had a distinguished career and paid good money to send his son to prestigious schools in Nigeria and London, only for him to take this devastating route. It's another reason people should avoid becoming radicalized terrorists - the hurt and disappointment it causes one's family.

Holder: I made decision to charge terror suspect

Wednesday, February 3, 2010; 3:52 PM

WASHINGTON -- Attorney General Eric Holder said Wednesday he made the decision to charge the Christmas Day terror suspect in civilian court rather than the military system, with no objection from all the other relevant departments of the government.

In a letter to Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, the attorney general wrote that the FBI told its partners in the intelligence community on Christmas Day and again the next day that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab would be charged criminally.

Holder's letter was the latest volley in a vigorous counterattack by the Obama administration to Republican charges that the arrest and FBI interrogation of the Detroit suspect was a mistake that cost a chance to learn key information.

The letter followed less than 24 hours after senior administration officials disclosed that the suspect had resumed talking to U.S. interrogators last week after breaking off his discussions the day of his arrest...

FBI Director Robert Mueller testified Tuesday that FBI agents questioned Abdulmutallab until he entered surgery, and that the suspect was not advised of his Miranda right to remain silent until after he emerged from surgery. A federal law enforcement official, requesting anonymity to discuss an ongoing case, said the suspect made clear upon emerging from surgery he was going to stop talking and then was given his Miranda warning.

"Neither advising Abdulmutallab of his Miranda rights nor granting him access to counsel prevents us from obtaining intelligence from him," wrote Holder "On the contrary, history shows that the federal justice system is an extremely effective tool for gathering intelligence."...

McCain: "Eric Holder Has Obviously Botched This One Very, Very Badly"

John McCain Slams Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder

Senator John McCain, ranking member of the U.S. Arms Committee, slammed President Obama's Attorney General, Eric Holder, for botching the handling of terror suspect, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder

The Judiciary Report is also of the opinion, Holder is not doing a good job. One has to question the Administration's agenda, with the litany of poor choices the Justice Department and FBI have made.
