Video: 9 Charged Following Suicide of Bullied Girl
In tragic news, a 15-year-old Irish immigrant, Phoebe Prince, took her life in the U.S. state of Massachusetts, after months of relentless bullying, gang stalking, cyberstalking, aggravated harassment, assault and rape, committed by merciless classmates at her school.
Prosecutors have now charged 9 students in her death and it is appropriate, as their conduct is reprehensible and depraved and went well beyond school yard name calling.
After a particularly trying day of being terrorized by the 9 students, Phoebe, went home and hung herself above her family's staircase. A horrified relative came home to the grim discovery. Her story did not have to end like this. Someone at school should have intervened.
There needs to be a national anti-bullying statute, as too many kids have killed themselves after being bullied for being perceived as weak, quiet, nerdy or gay. Said law could also address individuals using technology to terrorize or humiliate others, in acts such as sexting and cyberstalking, especially on social networking sites. The judicial Act could cover an umbrella of things and it is needed, as too many children have died, while others have been maimed or burned during acts of bullying.
The next step would be to heavily advertise the new law. Let teens know, just because you are minors, does not mean there will be no culpability when you injure other students in acts of bullying.
However, it should be noted, laws are worthless if those in charge do not enforce them. If there is a failure on the part of the police or FBI (civil rights jurisdiction), to do their jobs in enforcing the law, as the latter has been known to do, innocent young people will continue to die at the hands of perpetrators.
Violence at Florida school has gained national attention, as 15-year-old Josie Lou Ratley, was nearly stomped to death by Wayne Treacy, for making derogatory statement's via text message about his brother's suicide.
He tracked her down and punched her repeatedly until she fell to the ground. Then, he proceeded to slam her head against the ground several times. Still in a rage, he kicked her in the head repeatedly, until a school teacher spotted what was transpiring at the bus stop and pulled him off the student, who had passed out from severe injuries.
He is being charged with premeditated attempted murder and is currently held at a juvenile detention center, until prosecutors can decide whether to charge him as an adult or minor. There is clearly a problem in the young man's home, in that his brother committed suicide and he a premeditated act of attempted murder. The family needs counseling.
There is also a problem at the school, Deerfield Beach High, and the government needs to send a counselor and risk management professional there, to assess the situation and offer them help, as two very vicious crimes have occurred there in less than a year. Last year, several boys set fire to a classmate, leaving him hospitalized with terrible burns.
In an separate incident that follows the theme of pushing people's buttons, in London, a 27-year-old young man, stabbed his 24-year-old girlfriend to death, after she accepted $500,000 in gifts from him, such as a home, jewelry, Porsche and designer clothes, then texted him to state she is leaving him to marry someone else. He stalked, then killed her in a town square in front of shocked on lookers.
Many have also stated, former football player, O.J. Simpson, allegedly had his ex-wife murdered, for having a handsome young man driving around in the car he bought her and frequently visiting her at the home he purchased. Nicole Brown Simpson and her boyfriend, Ron Goldman, were brutally killed in an unprovoked act of rage.
The Judiciary Report does not agree with, support or condone violence in any measure, but this article is a warning to readers to be careful how you tell people things, as some people are not of sound mind and it will provoke severe violence from them, possibly claiming your life. It is not worth it. They will most likely end up in prison for a time, but you could lose your life or health.
No one is justified attacking and injuring you in any manner for what you have stated to them, but use caution, as some will kill you in a rage of anger or jealousy. Be on the safe side and avoid them. If you are threatened, report it to the police. It will make it easier to prosecute in the future, if the misconduct transpires again.
Doctors `feeling good' about beaten Deerfield Beach girl
Updated: 2:57 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 - Medical personnel treating Josie Lou Ratley -- the 15-year-old Deerfield Beach girl beaten by a teen boy last week -- on Sunday removed her bandages, exposing rows of stitches from two surgeries to relieve pressure on the girl's brain.
She remained in critical condition and in a medically induced coma at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, according to Rick Freedman, her family's attorney.
Doctors are ``really feeling good about the strength of the rest of her body,' Freedman said. ``Now it's a matter of waiting.' Josie's family remains by her bedside.
She has undergone two craniotomies -- the first Wednesday night on the left side of her brain and the second Friday on the right side.
Talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, has been sued in U.S. Court, by the former headmistress of her Africa based girls school. Nomvuyo Mzamane, filed suit against Winfrey for defamation of character, alleging the talk show host issued derogatory statements about her covering up a sex abuse scandal that transpired at the school in South Africa.
Nomvuyo Mzamane insists she did not cover up the abuse scandal and Winfrey's words to the press, rendered her unemployable for a year, ruining her name and costing her income. A judge in Philadelphia issued a 128 page ruling this week, stating the case can proceed, which means Oprah must settle or face a civil trial.

If the former headmistress did actually know about the sexual abuse transpiring against the underage girls at the school and tried to cover it up, as Winfrey publicly stated and if Oprah can actually prove her claims in court, Nomvuyo Mzamane is going to owe the talk show host substantial legal fees.
However, if Nomvuyo Mzamane proves she did not engage in a cover up and had no knowledge of the abuse that was transpiring at the school, Winfrey is going to be forced to pay her six to seven figures, via a legal judgment.

Updated: 10:07 am EDT March 17,2010 - PHILADELPHIA -- Talk show host and media magnate Oprah Winfrey is expected to spend two weeks defending herself at trial in a defamation case linked to the sex-abuse scandal at her girls school in South Africa.
A federal judge this week refused to dismiss the suit filed by Winfrey's ex-headmistress, paving the way for a March 29 trial in Philadelphia.
The billionaire talk show host, as a named defendant, must be in court and has rearranged her TV production schedule to do so, her lawyers said in a recent court filing. She also appears likely to be called as a witness.
After the abuse complaints surfaced in 2007, Winfrey said she had "lost confidence" in headmistress Nomvuyo Mzamane and was "cleaning house from top to bottom." ...
The Robbins family of the U.S. city, Philadelphia, were interviewed by a number of national network channels, regarding the egregious and criminal violation of their privacy, when faculty of their son Blake’s school, secretly watched him in their home via a school issued laptop.
The webcam was triggered by stealthily placed school software (see: spyware). It snapped photos that a vice principal confronted the 15-year-old boy with, accusing him of taking illegal drugs, via popping pills. It turns out the boy was popping Mike And Ike candies, which is perfectly legal, as it is confectionary, not crack.
Even if the little boy had been in his bedroom hitting the crackpipe like Ike Turner, it does not give the school the right to engage in warantless surveillance, by illegally turning on a webcam, via having it act as a hidden camera and unlawfully photographing and videotaping people in their homes without their knowledge or consent. It is a sick, deplorable, criminal violation of the Constitution.
Even the average judge would not sign a warrant to allow law enforcement to engage in such conduct against a minor. Rarely would they even sign such a warrant regarding an adult, as it is unconstitutional. Yet, the school bypassed the law and terribly violated the Robbins family.
Their daughter, who was also given a school issued laptop stated, she and her friends take the laptops into their respective bathrooms (toilet) when they shower, to listen to music while they bathe.
A number of other students are outraged as well and have come forward to state that on numerous occasions, the on light for the laptops webcams would turn on by itself, leading them to wonder if it was watching and recording them.

However, the school clearly lied, previously labeling it a glitch. It was disclosed yesterday the school had triggered the webcams to turn on 42 times that they are willing to admit to, but something tells me it was more, as the complaints far outnumber that figure.
The school’s insufficient and illegal excuse is the webcams turn on when a laptop is reported lost or stolen, BUT THE ROBBINS FAMILY NEVER REPORTED THEIR LAPTOP MISSING OR PILFERED. There is no question the school did this.
Therefore, which criminal on Harriton High’s faculty turned on the webcam and spied on the minor in his home and by all accounts, numerous other kids attending the school.
Why did a school vice principal have photos of a 15-year-old in his home, taken by the secretly activated webcam.
Why did the school think they had a right to spy on families in their homes, when the Fourth Amendment expressly forbids such criminal misconduct?
Why did the school’s staff think it was permissible to do something so sick to children attending the school, that they secretly okayed a pedophilic program, not disclosed to parents or students, which granted them the illegal ability to turn on webcams without consent and watch teens and their families in their homes?
What are the names of the individuals that had access to the illegal images and videos of kids and their families, who were secretly watched in their homes, in various states of undress, when the webcams triggered and began filming?
Why is it being claimed the webcams had no sound, when it is a standard feature on such units?
Once again, it is very alarming that America has become a police state, with such serious privacy intrusions. The Constitution, a strong document that was put in place with good reason, as ALL nations need good privacy laws and human rights, is being terribly trampled.
Hopefully, the massive public outcry accompanying this scandal, will draw attention to the terrible issue of people being spied on in their homes via hidden cameras and audio bugs and new legislation will be enacted, with tougher penalties for such invasive crimes.
School Accused of Using Webcam to Photograph Student at Home

Blake Robbins, the teen at the center of the controversy, told Hill it all began when Harriton High School administrators falsely accused him of selling drugs and taking pills; then said they had webcam images to prove it.
Blake says the pictures are of him eating candies.
Blake's mother, Holly Robbins, says she "was panicked" when she learned what was going on. "I thought this was just horrifying, that somebody could, especially the school, come into my home and spy on my son, and my daughter - she's 18 years old. And it was scary. It was like having a Peeping Tom."
Blake's sister, Paige Robbins, told Hill she "can say that on behalf of all of my girlfriends at Harriton, we were very scared, because we don't check to see if the lid is closed when we're changing. We take them in the bathroom when we're in the shower to listen to music. So, we're all petrified. We don't know who's on the other end watching us do whatever."...
In an item mentioned in the August 2009 lawsuit Aisha v. FBI, regarding the BBC program "Doctor Who" using people's real names, images and likeness to base characters on, in violation of the law (Right To Publicity) the people behind the program admitted yesterday that they have done such things.
The writers of the show arrogantly proclaimed yesterday that they took the image and likeness of politicians and others, used it for the show, but added defamatory and unflattering items to it. Yesterday they admitted, they took Margaret Thatcher's name and made her into a very unflattering character named Rehctaht, which is her name spelled backwards.
Such conduct is plain lazy, uncreative, haughty, cowardly and nasty. However, what's your excuse when you criminally misappropriate the names, images and likeness of minors for your programming, which you did to two of my younger relatives, in being nasty to me in unprovoked conduct commissioned by Madonna (see: Madonna Violates The Privacy Of Minors), as mentioned in the aforementioned lawsuit. How do you justify doing such a thing to kids.
I wasn't kidding when I said I am going to sue you and write about you and I promise you, it will be emotionally painful, humiliating and spark changes to the law, when I get finished with you. Imagine that, using the Queen's airwaves to terrorize people.
BBC scriptwriters tried to use Doctor Who to bring down Margaret Thatcher

She battled the Argentine army abroad and the unions at home. But Margaret Thatcher never knew she was also under attack from outer space.
Left-wing scriptwriters hired by the BBC during the 1980s tried to inspire a 'Tardis revolution' by using Doctor Who as propaganda to undermine the Tory prime minister.
In one serial they caricatured her as a vicious and egotistical alien ruler who banned outward displays of unhappiness among her downtrodden people and used a secret police to oppress dissidents.
Former actors and writers on the show admitted yesterday that there was also thinly veiled support for the miners' strike and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament...
'The idea of bringing politics into Doctor Who was deliberate. We were a group of politically motivated people and it seemed the right thing to do.' ...
'I was very angry about the social injustice in Britain under Thatcher and I'm delighted that came into the show.'
But he added: 'Critics, media pundits and politicians didn't pick up on what we were doing. Nobody really noticed or cared.'
The ratings plunged to 3million and the series was taken off air, reappearing for a one-off episode in 1996 before the hit 2005 revival.
A BBC spokesman said: 'We're baffled by these claims. The BBC's impartiality rules applied just as strongly then as they do now.'
