The volcanic ash that has blanketed parts of Britain and Europe since last week, continues to leave travelers stranded, as flights in the region have been canceled. The volcano in Iceland reportedly erupted again today. The ash is detrimental to the inner workings of airplanes, causing them to drop out of the sky.

Poland is facing a political crisis in the aftermath of the death of President Lech Kaczynski and 94 members of his government, who were killed in a plane crash, shrouded in conspiracy theories of foul play.
It is a government's worst nightmare. It also serves as additional proof, key members of the same government should not travel together, as one accident can destabilize a nation.
The Polish people are making plans to regroup and reorganize, calling for elections to be held as soon as possible. The Judiciary Report sends its condolences and sympathy to the people of Poland in this terrible tragedy.

British football player, Wayne Bridge, has quit the English national team, due to a teammate, John Terry, having an adulterous affair with his ex-fiancée, Vanessa Perroncell, who is also the mother of his 3-year-old son.
Bridge cannot bring himself to play on the team with Terry, as it is already causing awkward tension. Sorry they are not able to work it out.
Football is supposed to be fun, but it is regrettable that things happening off the pitch, have taken the enjoyment out of it.
Bridge should not have quit. Playing football for your nation on an international stage is a wonderful experience. My dad was able to do so and never regretted it. Occasionally, he still looks back on it with fond memories.
British football is in a state of disarray with all the sex scandals, but at the end of the day, each player should be thankful they are able to play in a time when football is so modernized in terms of being able to earn a living doing what you love.
When my dad played for the national team as a teenager, he said people did so for the love of the sport, as internationally, athletes were not paid very much then, even in Britain and Europe. Now, players are pulling in $200,000 to $400,000 per week and have access to greater opportunities.

However, sometimes wealth is not a good thing, as it gets people into trouble. Many of football's modern scandals have been based in money, in that women, quite a few of whom are unscrupulous (all over the world, by the way) are attracted to wealthy ball players and go out of their way to bed them, hoping for a pay out. Some men do not resist temptation and trouble ensues.

If I could change anything about football, I would change the modern mentality of some who play the game, in more ways than one (on the pitch and off the pitch).
I'd change the carnal belief that one is to spend as much as one can on loads of cars, expensive liquor, become skunk drunk, bed as many women as possible and party relentlessly.
None of that will make you happy, as it is a temporary buzz that does not last, which is why some go further each time in excess, seeking a thrill. You'll destroy your health and relationships living in that manner. Look what happened to George Best. Great footballer that drank and partied himself into an early grave.
God, your family, your spouse and your children are what's important. The time you spend with them. The family trips you take. The memories you make. Treasure them and put all else into perspective.
Wayne Bridge quits England team over John Terry "betrayal"
By Jeremy Armstrong 26/02/2010 - Angry Wayne Bridge put the boot into John Terry as he quit the England team yesterday. Bridge, 29, is so repulsed by his former best mate that he cannot bear to share a changing room with him. He told pals: “Terry makes me sick to my stomach. He betrayed me.”
Terry, 29, had an affair with Bridge’s girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel. Perroncel last night begged Bridge to change his mind, after expressing her “shock and regret” at his decision. Her spokesman Max Clifford said: “Vanessa is very upset at what Wayne has said. She believes it’s the wrong decision.
“As the alleged affair happened after they had split up, you would think he would be able to move on and take the greatest opportunity that he will ever get in his playing career.
“While I can understand these thoughts and feelings, to take it to this degree, surely the only person he’s hurting is himself. “I would have assumed that Wayne Bridge and John Terry would have sorted this out man to man in the weeks gone by but obviously not...

Boy, Ashley Cole has a lot of gumption. Dude was busted for cheating on his wife, it was plastered all over the newspapers in Britain and Europe, then months later, after she took him back, he went back and did it again, even unwisely taking a series of intimate photos with one of his mistresses.
Usually, famous men that cheat on their wives, do not leave incriminating photographic evidence behind, to surface later on. But not Ashley. Just stupefying.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the pond, Cheryl Cole is in Los Angeles, trying to make Ashley jealous, by being photographed with Derek Hough. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that dude gay. He is a total girlie dude.
